1. Who we are
This website is run by Quality Waste Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16132365), of Unit 13, Bugbrooke Business Park, Bugbrooke Road, Kislingbury, Northamptonshire NN7 4UF. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZB833037.

2. The personal data we collect
- Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address, collection address, the type of waste, the days you are open and whether you would like a call back.
- Contact form: your email address, the subject and your message.
- Chat assistant: the questions you type into the chat assistant on our website.
- Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Analytics and advertising data is only collected if you accept those cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Emails and calls: anything you tell us when you contact us directly.
3. How we use your data and our lawful basis
- To prepare quotes and answer your enquiries, and to arrange and carry out collections. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.
- To answer questions through the chat assistant. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in helping visitors find information quickly.
- To keep the website secure and protect our forms from spam and abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
- To understand how the website is used and measure our advertising, using Google Analytics and Google Ads. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example keeping waste transfer records and accounting records.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:
- OVH, which hosts our website, database and email.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics and Google Ads (only with your consent), reCAPTCHA on our contact form, and the Gemini service that powers our chat assistant.
- Our professional advisers, and regulators or authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above: to deal with your enquiry or quote, to provide our services and to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations. After that, we delete it or anonymise it securely.
6. How we protect your data
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Please also see our Website Security Policy and Data Security Policy.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (a subject access request; see our Subject Access Request procedure);
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to us using your data on the basis of our legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer your data to another organisation;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
